I'm pretty certain they're correct, although i'm not a 100%...

CH3-CH-CH2-CH-CH3
         |             |          
       CH3        OH

and

OH-CH2-CH2-CH-CH2-OH
                       |
                      OH

Above is assuming you mean '1,2,4-butantriol' instead of '1,2,4-butanetriol'.
