Title: Luminol Synth Problem

after hydrolysis to make disodium pthalate the bottom layer remained cloudy and after adding the HCLl(31% hardware store muriatic acid) i placed in the freezer and the pthalic acid has not precipitated why is this happening, this is the video i used as a reference
