Title: How to manufacture: C3H6N6O6
Post by: RDX on October 04, 2011, 03:00:48 PM
It can be purchased already created. My question to you:

What is the full process of manufacturing C3H6N6O6?

Otherwise known as cyclotrimethylene-trinitramine.

Surely there are books or other sources to reference. I cannot find anything on the internet. Please help

Thanks

A quick Google points to the Wikipedia page for this compound, known as RDX, an explosive used since WWII, and more recently in terror attacks.  The history section of the Wikipedia page offers the general manufacturing process, which should be adequate for a school book report.  Specific instructions on how to make explosives are against this forum's rules.

I've searched the internet high and low.

I believe the US Government is censoring the data on how to manufacture this substance.

This is unconstitutional.

Thanks for you help.
