Title: Why do we use caffeine as an internal standard in hplc?

Hi guys just trying to find out the answer to the above question as I couldnt find it.

Also which compounds are more polar (in order):

Theophyline

Theobromine and

Caffeine?

1) Depends on why you're doing the HPLC

2) Look up the structures
