Title: reducing,non-reducing sugars

I need to write 2 aldohexoses-1 that is reducing and other-non-reducing. as reducing one I'm gonna write glucose but I can't figure out non-reducing sugar(I only know disacharides that are non-reducing). can someone please help with this?

Maybe an aldohexose with a functional group attached to its anomeric carbon. A non reducing sugar is a sugar that can't convert between its chain form and its ring form. Many disaccharides fit this criteria cuz the 2nd sugar is bonded to the 1st sugars anomeric carbon which prevents the ring from opening.

A reducing sugar is one in which the cyclic hemi acetal is in equilibrium with the open chain form which contains an aldehyde, the reducing group. Prevent this opening by functionalist ion of the hemi acetal and you have a non reducing sugar.
