Title: volume titrate problem

what volume of .1M NaOH is needed to titrate 100ml of .2M H2SO4?

This is what i have so far...
     100ml H2SO4*(.1M NaOH/.2M H2SO4)= 50ml

the answer to the problem is 400ml. what am i doing wrong.

First you need to write the balanced equation for the reaction between sulfuric acid and sodium hydroxide.

[H2SO4]=0.2M V=100mL

H2SO4 + 2NaOH -> Na2SO4 + 2H2O

[NaOH]=0.1M V=xmL

Now, a little bit of calculations:

(2*0.2M*0.1L) / 0.1M =0.4L=400mL
