Title: Solubility of Metal Salts
Post by: poorstudent83 on November 14, 2011, 06:17:14 PM
Hi all...

I need to do some metal complexation studies and would like to know if there is any info ANYWHERE on the solubility of metal salts in organic solvents.

To be more precise, I want to do some fluorescence and UV-Vis studies in acetonitrile and thought that I may be able to use perchlorate salts. I know that most of these will be soluble in acetonitrile but don't want to waste the money (very tight budget) on those that are not soluble.

Any help would be much appreciated!!
