Title: Alcohol Safe Resin
Post by: EmeraldWater on December 15, 2011, 02:52:10 PM
I can't seem to find an answer so I wanted to get some help form others that know what they are doing.  :)

We need to build some small tanks that will be holding alcohol and mixtures and we are looking for a resin that will stand up to them.  Ethanol will sometimes be stored but mostly methanol.  We will also be mixing batches of Sodium Hydroxide + Methanol for Sodium Methoxide.  Any help would be great!

Here's a web page that has the standard plastic compatibility table.  It lists all the compounds you've mentioned, except it calls ethanol and methanol by the older names ethyl alcohol and methyl alcohol.
