Title: how to make phenolthalien

hi everyone,

does anyone out there know how to make phenolthalien if so how? or where does it come from i know it is a weak organic acid but where does it originate? thanx for your help.

The synthesys of phenolthalien is simple: reaction of 1 mole phtalic anhydride with 2 moles phenol in the presence of ZnCl2  and heating as condenzation reaction(Se2-acylation of phenol and dehydratation).

Haha i think if you go to some drogery and ask for some purgative it should be pure phenolphatein put in  capsula  :D

yeah but i dont need a capsula i need a gallon of it!!!
