Title: Fusion
Post by: Tom on June 04, 2004, 09:59:23 AM
Can anyone tell me what the heart of fusion would be in kJ/mol if 10.0 g of solid chromium absorbs 2.82 x 103 J of heat in melting?

Thanks, Tom

I think you meant HEAT of fusion.

1) Convert grams to no. of moles.
2) Divide the heat absorbed by the no. of moles of Chromium
