Title: Identification of Unk. from Gas Chromatography
Post by: nate on November 06, 2005, 07:40:54 PM
Can anyone point me to a reference or website that will show me known RT values and GC printouts?  I performed a procedure with simple and fractional distillation with a compound containing two unknowns and now need to identify the two unknowns.  I know that I can likely use boiling points, but I want to be as thorough as possible.

Thanks

Here is a website that contains info for various organic compounds, from IR to Mass spec to NMR.  I am not sure if it contains just GC, do you get to use reference compounds to test you sample to??

Anyways here is the website:

go there, scroll down and argee to the disclaimer, then walla...you're in.
