Title: Samarium anyone!?
Post by: AgG on November 21, 2005, 03:01:54 AM
whats with the lack of research into samarium?  I've never heard of a carbonyl compound of samarium (though a few may exist!) And I haven't seen anything about it in radical polymerization.  Samarium is unique among the lanthanides in its ability to support a 2+ oxidation state, though 3+ is the sink. and its relatively cheap!
