Title: ppm into bars
Post by: ziagemini on June 13, 2012, 03:46:22 AM
Hello All,

i am not really sure whether i am putting the question at right place. In my gas there are 250ppm of hydrogen sulfide. Can i convert this ppm into bar. As far as i rememnber ppm is unit showing mass of H2S in gas.

Hope i get some help.

Regards!

In gases, ppm usually implies fraction by volume. 250 ppm is equivalent to P=250(ppm)/1,000,000(ppm)*1(bar)=0.00025bar
