i was asked the difference btw the two process?
what are the most significant difference btw both process?

and is the term anodising used only for aluminium and not for any other element?

Anodising is a method of coating  aluminium objects with a protective oxide layer (think along the line of the protective properties of aluminium oxide), by making them the anode inside an oxidising electrolyte bath. It can also be used to create a decorative finish by formation of an oxide layer capable of absorbing dyes.

Electroplating is plainly depositing metal on another metal object by making it the cathode.
