Title: Expansion of a material with the addition of electricity?

Is there any type of liquid or solid, or any material that will expand with the addition of electricity, or vice versa?

Yes, this phenomenon is named piezoelectricity. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piezoelectricity
But I am not specialist of that type of material at all.
