Title: Making a PMMA mold of a collagen surface
Post by: nicole6 on October 08, 2012, 09:09:45 PM
Hi. I'm trying to make a PMMA mold to capture the fine nanostructures of a collagen surface. I need a solvent that dissolves the PMMA but does not make the collagen swell or denature. I know collagen swells in aqueous solutions but is there any way to get around this or is there any solvent anyone knows of that would work for this synthesis?

Thank you soooo much!!!!
