Title: Work up.
Post by: digchick21 on November 22, 2012, 06:46:17 AM
I'm trying to figure out a work up for a reaction that i am going to do and i want to remove pyridine. My reaction is attached so please have a look. Here's what i'm thinking, dilute reaction with solvent (DCM), wash with water, wash with 10% copper sulfate, and finally brine.

What do you think?

Sounds reasonable, just testing the SMILES code too :)

C1(=CO[C@H]([C@H]2[C@@H]1CC[C@@H]2C)O)C >>C1(=CO[C@H]([C@H]2[C@@H]1CC[C@@H]2C)OC(=O)[C@@](C3=CC=CC=C3)(C(F)(F)F)OC)C
