Doesn't everyone produce telomerase? ;D
The total synthesis of its inhibitor is pretty cool though!

The guy on the left is giving a talk here tomorrow.  It's going to be cool!

Danishefsky came to give a talk here a couple months ago, which was pretty great too.  I had thought that Danishefsky's approach had really left good organic synthesis behind in favor of just getting to the final compounds to look at their biology.  Some of the stuff he talked about was just amazing though.  Really great insights into how to disect these interesting molecules.  He was proposing steps that you would think to be totally ridiculous, but then they would work beautifully.
