Post by: BARAJAN on May 14, 2013, 04:39:09 AM
hi guys
I want to make a little changes in a chemotherapy drug and I want to compare the cytotoxicity properties of the original drug with the new one. which tests I should perform on these two compounds to investigate the efficiency of the new compound compared to the old one (original drug)?
thanks for your help

It's a little hard to tell from the context of your question, whether you want to perform home modifications for self-medication (a topic that's not allowed on this forum -- check the  forum rules (http://www.chemicalforums.com/index.php?topic=33740.0)) or you're trying to investigate in an academic or industrial setting.  As an example of an assay for cytotoxicity, maybe you can get a general idea from this reference:  http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21468972
