Hello.
i m doing some research in textile dye synthesis .my supervisor told me to synthesis dye using anthraquinone as the coupling agent .Is it posiible ?
please any one can is highly appreciable
-
Which dye do you want to make?
-
basically, i want to synthesize dye using 2-amino-6-methoxy benzothiazole as a diazotized salt and and anthraquinone as a coupler
-
i m very new to textile and don't have enough knowledge to start synthesis of disperse azo dye by diazotization .the problem occurring every time i cannot able to purify my dye
i need to know ,where i can start my synthesis knowledge .i know little about organic chemistry
my intermediate for dye synthesis are
Available chemicals:
1. 4-Amino benzamide
2. 5-Amino-2-naphthalene sulfonic acid
3. 3-hydroxy-2-naphthoic acid
4. Sodium di thionite
5. Sodium hydrosulfide
6. Sodium Chlorate
7. Sodium Nitrite
8. Sodium metanitrobenzonic sulfonate
9. Sodium Nitrate
10. Propionic acid,Extra pure
11. 4-Aminoantipyrine
12. 1-Aminoanthraquinone
13. 2-Aminoanthraquinone
14. Anthraquinone
15. 6-Amino-4-Hydroxy-2-Naphthalene Sulfonic Acid
16. 2-Amino-6-nitrobenzothiazole
17. 6-Amino-1-naphthol-3-sulfonic Acid Hydrate
18. 2-Amino-6-methoxy-benzothiazole
19. 3-Amino-2,7-Naphthalene Disulfonic Aci
please advise
