Hello colleagues! :)
I am happy to be here among colleagues. But i am not polymer chemist and I need your help.
I need develop high temperature adhesive for glueing metals.
This component should satisfy next conditions:
1. Temperaure of processing is not higher than 90 degrees C.
2. Short-term temperaure of processing service is 300 degrees C (not higher 1 minute)
3. Modulus of elasticity is not smaller than 4 gigapascal
Any ideas? ???
Or you can advise some scientific articles or books? ;)

No, it is not school project. It is scientific work of post- graduate student, my friend, but he is not very good polymer chemist. He asked me about this problem. But I am not polymer chemist. I do not know about this problem.

Problem looks ill defined to me. In addition to my earlier question, I'd ask myself:
What are the design stresses in shear / tension that it has to support. What sort of metals? What service temperatures?

As far as I know- metal is Al (aluminum). I do not know more than I have written early.
May be you know some reviews or articles about adhesives in English? ;)

no a solution, but maybe helpfull evenso:

so, if this is an information he just needs (for something else he's working on, with respective expertise), maybe even together with someone who could supply him with this very product "ready to use", her should start by looking at commercially available products for metal gluing: there is a broad range of those around.
:rarrow: two component reactive glues, together with some initial coating / anchoring on the metal surfaces comes to mind.
... and for more specific demands / questions I would try to contact the very producers of those systems, like 3 M, for example ( my personal experience with esp. these guys is great)

300°C is extremely difficult, and the chances to invent a new such adhesive are slim!
As a user, among existing ones, I imagine only polyimide for that temperature...
- The processing temperature may exceed 90°C
- 300°C are a lot even for them, but over a limited time OK.
- Exist as film also

I know that people have made geopolymer adhesives for this kind of thing.

I would think that you suggestion conflicts with the original post

As I say geopolymers have been used for this kind of thing. I.e. at temperatures unsuitable for epoxy resins etc.
