Title: Theequilibrium processes-Validity of the Valley
Post by: 2810713 on February 26, 2006, 01:48:47 AM
At equilibrium the free energy remains same then why does those processes initiate and complete? both reverse anfd forward processes are individually not feasible at euilibrium... or as th eprobability of collosions in right way isn't zero... the reaction occurs and gives unstable product producing shortlive non-uniform energy distribution in the system and then due to unstability reverse process occurs to give us the same net concentrations.

thermodyanamics only tells about ultimate result and not the kinetics and all but i want to understand the whole picture.
