Title: bonding agent for soft plastic - resistant to water
Post by: cybertech on October 10, 2013, 02:34:01 AM
Hi everyone, hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

I am trying to make a liquid product that bonds to soft rubber / plastic. However I need to to stay bonded to the rubber when it touches water, so far I have found a very basic recipe by melting honey and sugar, with a little bit of lemon acid so it doesn't set. It bonds perfectly to the rubber, but as soon as you run it through water it comes off.

It cant set hard like a glue, it must remove in a liquid form or a wax form.

Thank you
Matt
