Title: How can I extract pure aluminium from cans / other sources?

Hi,

I have melted Aluminium cans various time. Can you plzz tell me how can i extract pure aluminium from drinking cans? they generally have Nickel, and Magnesium.

It isn't particularly easy for the layman to do.

It maybe a stupid suggestion but what about aluminum foil ?
Not 99,99% pure but I found it useful and cheap.
