Title: Making an energy level diagram with excel?
Post by: WK95 on November 02, 2013, 11:18:02 AM
For a lab, we are to make an energy level diagram for the hydrogen atom based on our observations and measured wavelengths. Just how can I make such a graph with Excel?

I was only able to see 3 Emission lines for Hydrogen. Their wavelengths as I've measured are 435nm which reflects a drop from n=5 to 2, 485nm which reflects a drop from 4 to 2, and 650nm which reflects a drop from 3 to 2.

I need to make this sort of graph with Excel only.
