Title: % of K2O and PPM
Post by: Andeas on February 02, 2014, 07:23:20 PM
Quick question here, i dont remember how to do this, so an answer with all the steps would be really nice.
I need to know the % and the ppm of K2O in K2CO3. Thanks in advance.

The forum rules require you show some work
But, do not come back saying you can not remember when attached to the internet
for instance
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parts-per_notation
is a simple search
now once you have looked there, you can come back an say
here is how I calculated ppm
and we will tell you if you are understanding the concept and guide you

by the way === please read forum rules
also you can use subscripts and superscripts here since there are editing features provided in the posting screen

Get the molecular weight from potassium oxide and from potassium carbonate as well.  Divide each other.
