I wanted to try Finkelstein's reaction but realised I had no NaI...
and being unable to get any, I decided to make some :)
so I thought about something like this:
KI + AgNO3 -> AgI(s) + KNO3
2AgI(s) + 2NaOH -> 2NaI + Ag2O(s) + H2O
how could I turn Ag2O(s) into AgNO3 again? :)
TIA

2AgI(s) + 2NaOH -> 2NaI + Ag2O(s) + H2O
This reaction will not work

and what about AgI + H2O2 in a basic solution?
that should work...
and I would only get Ag(s), which I can easily filter out...
