Title: double pipe heat exchanger
Post by: qwerasdf1 on July 16, 2014, 03:10:11 AM
hi friends, I am going to program a double pipe heat exchanger designer software and I need to every detail on heat transfer and mechanical design considerations.
I've read some on double pipe heat exchanger on net like this double pipe heat exchanger (http://scopewe.com/double-pipe-heat-exchanger-design-part-1/) guide but i need a complete source if exists, I would appreciate if you could introduce some sources to me.
thanks in advance.

Have you read the usual sources?

e.g. Perrys?  Kern? Coulson & Richardson?

Those are classics for this sort of thing.

Frankly, the approach makes me uneasy:
"I'll program a design software and have already read an introduction to heat exchangers"
I'd have preferred something like
"I'm an expert for heat exchanges, where do I find an introduction to programming?"
