There is Bromine Solution reaction for identifying unsaturated hydrocarbons... But how we can identify alkenes and alkynes from unsaturated hydrocarbons..???
-
What are "unsaturated hydrocarbons"?
-
CH2=CH2, HC=CH as example
They are not saturated.
@Partha Sarker with the bromine reaction you cannot destinguish what has double bond or triplebond.
Need other reaction or spectrometric research.

I wan't to know that particular reaction...would you help me please???

Check what happens with alkenes by treating with Ozone, Permanganate or Osmiumtetroxide.
Alkenyne refer here: http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/book/10.1002/9780470771563

Thanks. I will check it now...

Perhaps someone at your university, or other institution will be able to access it for you. Or, you could ask a library to get it for you.

I've worked with Bangladeshi, Pakistani and Gazan scientists. There are universities, and they're glad to help the next generation of scientists. Ask your teacher to speak to someone on your behalf.
