Title: Alternate of piperidine in coumarin synthesis

Hi,
I want to synthesize derivatives of coumarin but we cannot buy piperidine as its banned in my country and will require a long procedure for import. I wanted to ask if any alternate instead of piperidine could be used???

I'm just curious, but what country do you live in and why is it banned?

Hey, just wondering, what is the procedure of synthesising coumarine using piperidine?
because, I found there are lots of literature without using piperidine.
(e.g. Pechmann condensation)
