Contribute your best photos and captions, and our editors will handpick their favorites. We’ll select and publish our favorite photos as a part of the contest on the C&EN Chem Pics Tumblr Online. The result? Monthly winners will receive a $50 cash prize, with a Grand Prize winner that will get their photograph published in C&EN magazine and receive a Canon Digital SLR Camera.

This semester, my research picture would be of me sitting in from of a database for hours on end. One has to start somewhere.
