Title: Polycyclic Organic Compounds!?
Post by: aremist on December 11, 2014, 01:14:10 PM
I need help understanding Polycyclic Organic Compounds (POC). They are mentioned in an air emission summary that I'm dealing with and I can't seem to find much information about them through the usual Google searches or even at EPAs webpage. So, that said, I have a few questions:

Thanks for any help that can be offered.

Cheers!

I  think the author may very well mean something else, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons.  Yes, polycyclic organic hydrocarbons is a more all inclusive term, but we're more or less agreed, to monitor PAH as a measurement of pollution. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polycyclic_aromatic_hydrocarbon#Occurrence_and_pollution
