Title: Suggestion for aryl-aryl coupling of an aryl halide bearing a secondary amine
Post by: darkdevil on January 07, 2015, 01:10:42 PM
Hi,

I am looking for a aryl aryl type coupling reaction that has tolerance to amine. Most of the reactions I found require the use of a ligand for the catalyst. While my alkyl halide bears an amine. The amine seems to be reactive towards suzuki coupling. I tried Heck coupling which seemed to work. I wonder if there are any other coupling reactions that might work too? I am no expert in organometallics. Thank you! :)
