Title: How to separate alcohol from Minoxidil solution?

Hello,


My intent is to separate the alcohol content of a liquid minoxidil solution. I only imagined two solutions, please tell me what you think of them and feel free to add another if you think these won't work:

1) Freeze the solution for a day. Alcohol should be the only compound remaing liquid, so I would pour it away. Any chance that Minoxidil freezes with the water and doesn't go wasted away with the alcohol?

2) Heat the solution above 78.5°C and less than 100°C so that alcohol evaporates and I am still left with a liquid solution. Would the Minoxidil remain in the solution? Would it work?
