Title: All mild soaps not safe on Latex clothing material in the long term?

Some latex clothing manufactures don't recommend soaping latex, just rinse with water.

From my experience 90% of the time most bars of soaps I get from the chemist & supermarket are fine. I have tried the ones with least additives in them.
But could it be in the long run the soap is slowly helping & causing the damage process, so that one day the latex just gets eaten at or degrades bad. A result from many mild soap ups?

Are there no soaps that are safe in the long run?

The goal is to select soaps that avoid additives, like hand conditioners, heavy perfumes, etc.  A weak solution of hand soap or baby shampoo should keep it clean enough.  You can always Goggle for that similar information, especially if you stick to web pages of manufacturers.  'Though I wouldn't do this search at work. ;D
