Title: thoughts about cake

Ever wonder when you mix flour and water you get a glue?

But when you add eggs and bake it you get cake?
Where does all the glue go? Well as it turns out the glue is still in the cake. It's what makes the cake stick to our asses and thighs when we eat it.

Post by: limpet chicken on April 07, 2006, 12:43:56 PM: Nope, the gluten, caseine etc. are just metabolised, and more or less shat out as byproducts, if you become fat, then its because of eating too much (barring metabolic disorders), not gluten sticking bits of leftover food to internal bits and pieces.
