Title: Good Alternatives to Boehm Titration
Post by: CopperSmurf on April 17, 2015, 11:38:15 PM
I'm looking for alternatives to Boehm titrations.

For those who don't know, Boehm titrations is an acid/base titration to help identify certain surface functional groups on carbon materials, such as carbon nanotubes.

I'd like to avoid the use of long boring and likely inaccurate Boehm titrations.

I was suggested XPS (X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy) by a chemistry professor, but he was very reluctant and hesitant about any results from XPS for this purpose.

Any other suggestions?
