Title: Sputter deposition on Kapton tape

I happen to need metallized thin silicone film pretty quickly. Going through what we have in lab I started thinking would it be possible to sputter Pt to the silicone adhesive on Kapton tape. I think that the silicone film is quite uniform but I don't know if the fact that the silicone is adhesive would cause problems. Any ideas on this?

Potential sources of worries:
- "On a silicone film". If the polyimide is removed (is it?), the very extensible silicone film may break the metal.
- Does platinum need annealing after sputtering? Being a rather refractory metal, it may demand more than what silicone and polyimide withstand.

On usual silicone I'd worry because of poor adhesion. If silicone is made "adhesive" (how poorly?) this would rather reassure me.
