Hi, does anyone has a experience with determining reaction mechanisms? We tried to isolate the intermediates by hplc-ms but well, its not working :-D I found a similar reaction and in the paper they show some mechanism but I failed to see any experimental part that covers the mechanism so it seems it is just a proposal.
We briefly covered the study of mechanism in class but it was just a very general like "isolating intermediates" or "isotope labeling".
Thanks for any ideas
