Title: MALDITOF testing labs

I seem to be having a problem finding a lab that will run MALDI samples ~$100/sample range. I have found a few that advertise in that price range, but I seem get no response when attempting to contact them for sample submission. The few places that have responded are the "$1000 to set up the first sample, $250 each sample + $250/hr to write up a full report, etc..." which is out of my buget at the moment. The molecules are straight forward and should fly pretty well (MW 800-2500 soluble organic compounds) based on my experience in the past, and I am assuming I would be able to interpret the spectra and data without a full study on their part.

Does anyone have any suggestions for labs that have MALDITOF?

Have you tried SGS, Inc of West Chester, PA (formerly M-Scan, Inc) ?

I inquired there, but they were higher than our buget.

I found UMASS Amherst Mass Spec labs to have reasonably priced MALDI testing, and the turnover time was quite fast.
