Title: iodoform & peroxide
Post by: jmarjorie on August 02, 2004, 12:28:16 PM
Dear All,

I would like to know if Iodoform(Triodomethane) CHI3 is stable/co-exist with H2O2 in the same solution? Thanks in advance,
Regards,

the H2O2 would easily oxidize the CHI3 leaving you with  CH4, HIO2, HIO3 and perhaps HIO4
