Title: How to remove Li2CO3 in the powder?

Hi.

I am developing cathode materiala for Li-ion battery.
However, the final cathode material contains around 10000ppm of Li2CO3.
I want to decerease 10000ppm to lower than 2000ppm. By washing the cathode material in CO2 purged water, it will be around 3000-4000ppm.

However, CO2 purged water is not good for the material, so I am finding another method.

Do you have any good idea to decrease the contents of Li2CO3?
1. The material is black powder. Black corlor. Density is 2.5g/cc
2. If possible I do not want to wash in solution such as water: Because this material is weak to water or solution. But if the new method is using solution, its ok.
3. The new method must not harmful to human.

The questions is what are the other substances in the powder, especially which kind of Lithium salts additionally.
