I need to make a mineral mix for horses which requires 462g of zinc sulfate monohydrate. I can only source z.s. heptahydrate. Z.s.m is 35% whilst z.s.h is 22%. Can someone do the maths for me to give me the correct amount of z.s.h I need to use?? Many thanks.

In both cases you need exactly the same number of moles of Zn. What is the molar mass of ZnSO4·H2O? How many moles of the salt in the 462 g of the solid? What is the molar mass of ZnSO4·7H2O? What is the mass of the same number of moles of the salt?

A table of the elements' mass is there
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Relative_atomic_mass
it goes like: count the atoms in the molecules, add the masses.
