Title: Omni-Directional or Non directional ??

What is the difference between Non-Directional and Omni-Directional ??
Ionic Bonds are omnidirectional or nondirectional ?? Or these two terms are exactly same ?

I am quite confused. Any help ??

I assume they mean the same. If something is the same in all directions, it has no specific direction.
