Title: Metal Nanoparticles with Citric Acid

When producing Copper Nanoparticles, I´ve been successful with Ascorbic Acid(C6H8O6). I was wondering if I use Citreci Acid(C6H8O7) would I get any reaction?

Successful with what? what are your end goals? If you want to know if it will work just try it.

Doubtful.  Ascorbic acid has some really nice, reversible redox chemisty. (it can donate/accept electrons from various metals) Citric acid does not as far as I know.
