It is a very simple question.If you know the chemical properties of alkyne then you can answer this question without any problem.problem. Alkynes undergo reduction on the triple bond.

C5H8 + 2H2 -> C5H12

please check the reaction conditions
H2 can be added only if some metal catalyst is there ...

Consider your answer to the previous part. Why was C4H10O not correct?
