Title: Silver acetate
Post by: sneldred on August 07, 2004, 07:11:25 AM
I am coating a material with a silver acetate solution (5g/L in distilled water), then drying the material in an oven. Can anyone tell me the best test methods for determining what silver species may be present on the coated material? I am guessing there will be silver ion, silver metal and silver oxide.

if you're trying to plate the "material", i advise you to have a metal as that "material" and place some silver at the positive terminal of a battery and the metal to be plated at the negative end.
