Title: - another quantum question (sorry)!
Post by: Heisenberg97 on April 06, 2016, 11:49:14 AM
I need to calculate the orbital angular momentum quantum number (l) and permitted values of ml.
L = I x W
then, L^2 = l(l+1)h^2

I have calculated l to be 1.51 x 10^29
From inorganic chemistry I've gathered that l should be an integer (l=0,1,2,3 etc).
and then ml = +l, l-1, 0, -1.... etc...

Please help me
