Could someone tell me what the most reactive metal is...And also what the most active non metal is...lastly what are chemicaly inert elements?
Thanx
-
inert elements would be the noble gases
alkali metals (group 1 metals) are typically the most reactive, i think sodium might be the most reactive

Awsome thanx for the help. I have one more ?, and it is what is the electron configuration for transition metals?
Thanx

to answer your other question: http://education.jlab.org/itselemental/ele009.html
and to answer which is most reactive in the alkali group:

whats the most reactive non metal?
-
the first website i listed gives you the answer to that.
-
alright now i relize how dumb i am.....thanx for everything ;D
-
no problem :)
-
:-\
correct me if i'm wrong

Which element is the most reactive! Are you serious? Reactive with what? Be specific.
-
Generally speaking, fluorine and caesium are the most reactive elements. But Mitch is right when thinkiing about elements of lower reactivity, eg lithium reacts faster with nitrogen than with oxygen though nitrogen is commonly thought as unreactive.

whats the most reactive non metal?
are you talking about relative rate or reaction or reactivity or vigorousness (if that's a word) of the rxn? ???
