Hi! I've zero knowledge in chemistry so i hope you guys could help me out -
Me and some friends want to try eating the Carolina reaper (around 2,500,000 on the scoville scale) at a party and drink afterwards (either beer or hard liqueur)
To my question - Will eating it and then drinking (not necessarily immediately after,but mabye an hour or two between) cause any damage? If so what exactly?
Please be as specific as possible! Thank you!

What do you mean by "damage"?
I can tell you one thing, if you drink enough to vomit, that's going to hurt coming back up.

Not too much,i've no clue about the subject so thought i'd ask..
Completely moderate drinking,just wanted to know if there would be some chemical reaction or negative effects aside from what's expected (being drunk and having a burning mouth)
-
No, none that I'm aware of, other than possible heartburn.
(Although bear in mind we aren't medical professionals here and don't give out anything that should be considered medical advice, as stated in the forum rules.)

I wonder what it is going to like when it is excreted out the other end.
@twolpe - keep us posted.

My daughter calls the condition by its proper medical name, fire butt. ;D

Does that mean nothing other than an explosive ass?
